Sorry its been so long, life is super busy right now! I’m half way done with my school year, so that’s super exciting! Alright, to answer some more questions:

~As far as acting tips go, I’d say, don’t act. My acting coach, Laura Lasky (who by the way is amazing!) has a unique twist on acting skills that she introduced to me a long time ago…first of all…great actors like Marcia Gay Harden and Julia Roberts, don’t act. They apply the character to themselves, which is a super hard thing to do, but if someone puts time and effort into it, they could pull it off. I guess my biggest advice would be to not to aspire to be an actor because of the fame and fortune, but because of the true inner passion…

That was a very good advice, Shailene! Your acting coach seems to be very good at her job. If I ever keep continueing acting I’ll try that advice. Before I’ve acted I’ve always acted too much and the character was too lame. Your characters are very believable and now I know one reason why! Thanks for answering my question, you’re a sweetheart!

That’s like method acting I think. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Method_acting You should be careful though. If you immerse yourself too much into a character that’s a little weird or something, you might end up a little weird yourself.
